Cassidy Schmid

Cassidy Schmid currently serves as the Director of Development for Humanities at UCLA, a position held since March 2025. Prior to this role, Cassidy was the Director of Individual Giving and Manager of Campaign Operations at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra from December 2021 to March 2025. Cassidy’s earlier experience includes serving as the Annual Giving Coordinator at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business and as an Administrative Partner for LSA Advancement at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. Starting as a Development Intern at the University of Michigan Law School, Cassidy has built a diverse career in development and fundraising. Cassidy holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan, completed in 2017.
