Clinton Bench

Clinton Bench is the Director of Fleet & Transit at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they currently oversee the procurement and operation of a fleet of 1,150 vehicles, including the BruinBus transit system. Clinton holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S. from the University of Massachusetts. Their career began as a Transit Planner at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, followed by significant roles at the Boston Metropolitan Planning Organization and as Deputy Executive Director at MassDOT, where they implemented sustainability initiatives. Since joining UCLA in 2015, Clinton has also played a key role in managing the university's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
