Curley Bonds

Curley Bonds serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Deputy Director of Clinical Operations for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health since April 2018. Additionally, Curley Bonds has been a Board Member of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation since October 2003 and holds multiple academic positions at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital and UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital since 1996, including Health Sciences Clinical Professor and Director of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. Previously, Curley Bonds was a Medical Director at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services from March 2010 to March 2018 and served as a professor and chair in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science until October 2018. Education includes an MD in Medicine and Psychiatry from Indiana University Bloomington and a BA in Sociology from Emory University.
