Fan Yang is a dedicated academic and leader with extensive experience in research and education. Currently serving as a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles since August 2020, Fan has also contributed as Vice President of the Advanced Degree Consulting Club at UCLA from September 2022 to September 2023. Additionally, Fan co-founded the International Students in Education Association (ISEA) and gained practical experience as a Part-time Assistant at McKinsey & Company in late 2021. Fan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from UCLA, expected to complete in June 2024, and has previously earned a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from North China Electric Power University.
