Gerald Goodman

Gerald Goodman, Ph.D., is a Professor Emeritus at UCLA, where Gerald has been a faculty member since 1970, specializing in clinical psychology research, communication in close relationships, and community psychology. Since October 2013, Gerald Goodman has also operated an online private practice through Psychological Consulting Mentoring. Prior to these roles, Gerald Goodman served as a Research Fellow and Principal Investigator at the Institute of Human Development at UC Berkeley from 1962 to 1968, contributing to the project detailed in the publication "Companionship Therapy: Studies in Structured Intimacy." Gerald Goodman holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and Clinical Psychology from the University of Chicago.
