Isean B.

Isean B. is a knowledgeable robotics engineer currently serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA's Laboratory for Embedded Machines and Ubiquitous Robots (LEMUR) since April 2025. Prior experience includes a position as a Robotics Engineer Intern at Field AI, where significant contributions were made in machine learning systems, SLAM technology, hardware development, and research and development with advanced AI technologies. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Riverside, Isean B. designed the lab's first legged robotic payload for enhanced geo-localization and has held leadership roles such as Co-Lead for the Connected and Automated Vehicle Engineering within the EcoCAR EV Challenge. Additionally, experience includes an internship at Northrop Grumman working on embedded systems for satellite programs and another research assistant role focusing on multi-drone motion control APIs. Isean B. has earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Riverside.
