Jennifer Chan is a seasoned Scholarly Communication Librarian with extensive experience in promoting and managing scholarly output and communication strategies. Currently serving on the ProQuest Product and Platform Advisory Board since November 2021, Jennifer provides strategic advice on product development and the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence. At UCLA since May 2016, Jennifer leads outreach efforts and develops services to maximize the dissemination of scholarly works. Previously, Jennifer held significant roles at the University of Colorado Boulder and the Office of Scholarly Communication and Publishing, focusing on institutional repositories, author rights, and Open Access initiatives. Jennifer's academic background includes a Master’s in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and International Studies from Louisiana State University.
