Jiaqi

Jiaqi Ma currently serves as the Director at the Center of Excellence on New Mobility and Automated Vehicles since October 2023 and holds multiple prominent positions including Board of Governors and Editor in Chief for the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society. Jiaqi Ma has been the Associate Director of the UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies and Director of the UCLA Mobility Lab since November 2021 and July 2020, respectively, while also serving as an Associate Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles. Previously, Jiaqi Ma held roles at the University of Cincinnati as an Adjunct Professor, Assistant/Associate Professor, and Academic Director at the Advanced Transportation Collaborative, as well as working as a Transportation Research Engineer and Project Manager at Leidos/FHWA Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center. Jiaqi Ma's academic foundation includes a PhD and M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and additional degrees in Civil Engineering and Conference Interpreting from reputable institutions.
