Joanne Powers

Joanne Powers is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in system administration and support. Currently serving as an Application and Virtual Systems Administrator at the University of California, Los Angeles since March 2022, Joanne previously held the role of Senior Systems Administrator at Oxnard Union High School District from November 2011 to March 2022, where responsibilities included maintaining district servers, developing cloud solutions, and supervising the IT team. Joanne also has a background in managing student information systems, providing desktop support, and performing technical project management. Additional roles include Product Reviewer, IT Technician, and Service Technician, showcasing a diverse skill set in both hardware and software domains. Joanne holds a B.S. in Information Technology from California State University Channel Islands and an A.A. from Ventura College.
