Joel Kowalewski

Joel Kowalewski is currently the Chief AI Scientist at Stealth Mode Biotech and serves as an AI Research Scientist. In addition to these roles, Joel is an Adjunct Faculty member at Columbia University School of Professional Studies, teaching Applied Analytics, and an AI Consultant focusing on GenAI and LLMs. Joel has been actively involved as a Machine Learning/AI Instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles, and as a mentor and instructor at Great Learning for various AI-related programs. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Sensorygen, where development of technologies aligned with scientific vision took place, and a Computational Neuroscience Researcher at the University of California, Riverside. Joel holds a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from the University of California, Riverside, as well as degrees in Neuroscience and Cell & Molecular Biology, and has extensive experience in machine learning, computational biology, and neuroscience research.
