Joy Chen

Joy Chen is an accomplished student and professional currently pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Statistics and Data Science, and Applied Mathematics at UCLA, expected to graduate in June 2026. Joy's experience includes roles such as Accounts Payable Student Assistant at UCLA and Business Consultant at HARMAN International as part of the UCLA x Harman Innovation Challenge. Additional contributions include serving as Project Lead and Machine Learning Project Member with the National Student Data Corps at UCLA, Web Designer and Graphic Designer for Innovative Design, and Data Journalism Contributor for Daily Bruin. Joy's notable achievements include winning first place in a pitch presentation to Harman executives during a prior innovation challenge, and previously held the position of EPICS High Project Design Lead at Arizona State University.
