Kenneth Campbell is a highly experienced engineering seismologist with extensive expertise in ground motion characterization and seismic hazard analysis. As the Principal Engineering Seismologist at Kenneth W Campbell Consulting LLC since May 2008, Kenneth provides consulting services, including the development of design ground motions and seismic hazard analyses. Kenneth has held academic and leadership roles, including serving as a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles since February 2019. Previously, Kenneth held the position of Principal in Science & Analytics at CoreLogic until December 2023, focusing on seismic hazard models for loss estimation. Additional roles include Vice President at both ABS Consulting and EQE International, where the emphasis was on design ground motions for critical infrastructure and research in seismic characterization. Kenneth began as a Research Engineer at the United States Geological Survey, contributing to National Seismic Hazard Models. Kenneth holds a PhD in Geotechnical and Earthquake Engineering as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Geotechnical Engineering and Civil Engineering, respectively, from UCLA.
