Lei Lei is a distinguished Professor at UCLA since June 2002, specializing in research and education related to software and hardware systems, IoT applications for energy and water efficiency, and AI in education and healthcare. Lei has held significant leadership roles as Area Director for Integrated Circuits and Embedded Systems and director of both the Design Automation Laboratory and the Clean Energy Research Center. Since June 2011, Lei has served as the Founding Director of the Clean Energy Research Center in Los Angeles, focusing on advancing clean energy technologies.
