Maryanne Wolf

Maryanne Wolf is the Director of the Center for Dyslexia, Diverse Learners, and Social Justice at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they advocate for children and literacy on a global scale. They previously held the position of John DiBiaggio Professor of Citizenship and Public Service and directed the Center for Reading and Language Research at Tufts University. A published author, Maryanne has written several influential works on literacy, including *Proust and the Squid: The Story and Science of the Reading Brain* and *Reader, Come Home: The Reading Brain in a Digital World*. They are currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University.
