Maxim Batalin

Maxim Batalin is the Chief Executive Officer of Lucendi, Inc. since September 2017. Concurrently, Maxim serves as an Advisor with the UCLA Ozcan Research Group and has held multiple positions at the UCLA Engineering Institute for Technology Advancement, including Associate Director of Intelligent Systems and Senior Technology Strategist. Maxim's expertise encompasses business development, project management, and technology commercialization in areas such as mobile computing, data analytics, and security systems. Previous roles include Research Program Manager, where leadership of a group of graduate students and staff was essential, and Consultant/Advisor at FFM LLC, focusing on multimedia content distribution. Early career experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California and a Research Scientist at Intel Labs. Maxim holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and a Master's degree in Management from Tavria National University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Oregon.
