Michael Storper

Professor of Regional and International Development and Director, UCLA Luskin Global Initiative

Michael Storper is a Professor of Economic Sociology at Sciences Po, Paris, and a member of the Center for the Sociology of Organizations. They have served as the Academic Director for the Master of Public Affairs program at Sciences Po from 2003 to 2009, facilitating education for students worldwide. Currently, they hold a professorship in Economic Geography at the London School of Economics and have been a faculty member at UCLA since 1982, where they teach regional economics and lead the UCLA Luskin Global Initiative. Their educational background includes ongoing doctoral studies in Economic Geography at the University of California, Berkeley.
