Michael Suman

Michael Suman is a seasoned academic and researcher with extensive experience in communication. Currently serving as a Senior Continuing Lecturer at UCLA since 1994, Suman has held various prominent roles, including Research Director at the Annenberg Center for the Digital Future at the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2021 and Research Director for the USA team of the World Internet Project from 2000 to 2021. Suman also spent a decade as Research Director at the UCLA Center for Communication Policy and worked as a Lecturer at the University of Maryland's Asian Division earlier in his career. Suman holds both a Master's and a PhD in Sociology from UCLA, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University.
