Michail Bachtis

Michail Bachtis is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of physics, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles since October 2016. Prior to this position, Michail held the roles of Assistant Professor at UCLA and worked at CERN from May 2012 to October 2016 as an Experimental Physicist and Research Fellow. Michail Bachtis obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012, a Master of Science (MS) in Physics from the National Technical University of Athens in 2007, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Mathematics & Physics from the same institution in 2005.
