Min Zhou is a Distinguished Professor at UCLA, where they have been teaching since 1994. Their areas of expertise include theories of ethnicity, Chinese immigration, and ethnic entrepreneurship, among others. Prior to their tenure at UCLA, Min taught and conducted research at Louisiana State University from 1990 to 1994. They hold a Ph.D. and M.A. in Sociology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in English from Sun Yat-Sen University.
