Neil Garg

Neil Garg is a Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and the Kenneth N. Trueblood Endowed Chair at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). They have served as the Department Chair since 2019 and previously held the Vice-Chair position from 2012 to 2016. As a co-founder of ElectraTect, Inc., Neil also engages in speaking and consulting on teaching and scientific matters. They completed a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology in 2005, followed by postdoctoral studies at the University of California, Irvine, before joining the UCLA faculty in 2007.
