Peter Long

Peter Long is an energetic health care executive with over three decades of experience in developing strategies and driving innovation to enhance health outcomes. Currently, they serve as a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, while holding various board member positions, including at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Primary Care Collaborative. Previously, Peter was the Executive Vice President at Blue Shield of California, where they led initiatives to create affordable healthcare solutions for all Californians. Their past roles include Executive Director of the Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley and President and CEO of the Blue Shield of California Foundation, where they focused on health policy and community health improvement. Peter is presently pursuing a PhD in Health Services from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
