Shun Ye is currently a Graduate Student Researcher at PATHS-UP Engineering Research Center, focusing on developing low-cost lab automation instruments for underserved areas, while also serving as a PATHS-UP Fellow and Summer REU Mentor. As a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering at UCLA, Shun has received the Graduate Division Doctoral Fellowship and is engaged in volunteer research at the Di Carlo Lab. Shun's previous experience includes roles as a Technical Lead at Penn State University, various research positions at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and work as a Physical Therapist at Peking University. Shun holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Beijing Sport University.
