Sonia Luna

Sonia Luna is the Senior Executive Director of the California NanoSystems Institute at UCLA, overseeing administrative and financial operations while collaborating on strategic direction. With a background in financial management, Sonia has held multiple significant roles, including Director of annual budget operations for campus organizations totaling $6 billion, Assistant Dean at the School of the Arts and Architecture managing a $43 million budget, and Director of Business Services for the UCLA Library overseeing a $40 million system. Previous experience includes leadership positions in risk management and financial planning at companies such as Pedus Services and PINKERTON, as well as roles in financial control and reporting at NBC. Sonia holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and various certifications in leadership and management from prestigious institutions.
