Steve Jacobsen is a prominent scientist serving as a Scientific Co-Founder at Inari since October 2016. Jacobsen is also a Professor and Laboratory Head at UCLA since July 1998 and an Investigator and Laboratory Head at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute since September 2005. Early in the career, Jacobsen conducted agricultural field research as a Researcher at DuPont and Eli Lilly and Company in 1985 and 1987, respectively. Academic qualifications include a Postdoctoral degree in Genetics from Caltech (1993-1998), a PhD in Biology from the University of Minnesota (1987-1993), and a Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo (1982-1987).
