Sue M. Acito

Sue M. Acito, M.Ed., serves as the Assistant Director of Counseling (Pre-Med/Pre-Health) at the University of California, Los Angeles since January 2019, where responsibilities include supporting post-baccalaureate pre-medical and pre-health students from diverse backgrounds. Prior experience includes roles as an Academic & Career Counselor at UCLA, where Sue cultivated program engagement and retention, and as a Career Guidance Counselor Assistant at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, focusing on academic and career support for low-income students. Additional professional history encompasses various roles at the University of Southern California, including Group Tours Specialist and Assistant Learning Specialist for student-athletes. With a background in education from Rutgers University and the University of Southern California, as well as certifications from Google, Sue has also led youth programs through New York Cares and developed inclusive practices in previous professional settings.
