Taylor M. Brown

Taylor M. Brown is a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, since September 2015, pursuing a PhD in Molecular Biology under the supervision of Dr. Elissa Hallem. Taylor has participated in various training programs at UCLA, including Entering Mentoring Trainee and Preparing Future Faculty Trainee, which focus on enhancing mentoring skills and preparing for academic careers. Previous teaching experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses in Parasitology and Introduction to Molecular Biology. Taylor's research background includes studying viral ribonucleotide reductase small subunit during an undergraduate research position and participating in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Exceptional Research Opportunity Program at MIT. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA.
