Vandana Joshi is an accomplished evaluation researcher and data scientist with extensive experience in health and mental health systems. They served as a Research Analyst at the Integrated Substance Abuse Programs at UCLA from 1994 to 2001, followed by a position as Program Head at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health from 2006 to 2022. Currently, Vandana is the Program Director at UCLA, where they evaluate behavioral health care programs in California. In addition, they taught upper division coursework at UCLA from 2000 to 2012, specializing in research methods and sociology. Vandana earned a Ph.D. in Sociology/Demography from UCLA in 1999.
