Wei Wang

Wei Wang is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as the Leonard Kleinrock Professor in Computer Science and Director of the Scalable Analytics Institute (ScAI) at the University of California, Los Angeles since July 2012. Prior to this role, Wei Wang was a Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from July 2002 to June 2012 and worked as a Research Staff Member at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center from July 1999 to June 2002. Wei Wang earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from UCLA between 1996 and 1999, and holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Systems Science from Stony Brook University, as well as an educational background from Binghamton University and Nankai University.
