Yvonne Chen

Yvonne Chen is a distinguished academic currently serving as a Professor of Microbiology, Immunology & Molecular Genetics at UCLA since July 2013, having previously held the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in related fields. Prior to UCLA, Yvonne Chen was a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows and a Visiting Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School from September 2011 to June 2013. A research scientist at Seattle Children's in early 2011 and a PhD student at Caltech from 2005 to 2010, Yvonne Chen holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Caltech and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University. Additionally, Yvonne Chen worked as a Chemical Engineer at Merck before beginning the academic career.
