Zhen Gu

Zhen Gu is a Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they have been contributing to the academic field since 2018. Prior to this role, Zhen held positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University from 2016 to 2018. They also served as a Research Fellow at MIT and Harvard Medical School from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their academic pursuits, Zhen is the Founder of Zenomics, a position they have maintained since 2015. Zhen earned a PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Nanjing University in Polymer Science and Engineering and Chemistry, respectively.
