Dave Callow

Dave Callow is a seasoned social work professional with extensive experience in academia and union leadership. Currently serving as Chair of the Social Workers Union and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lincoln, Dave has been actively involved in political advocacy and community support. Notable contributions include leading the MSc Social Work Programme, working as a Social Media Officer for the University and College Union, and participating in multiple election campaigns for the Labour Party. With a background in both practical social work and political education, Dave has dedicated time to mentoring and supporting colleagues in the social work field, as well as representing the interests of social workers at various conferences and meetings. Educationally, Dave holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Studies in Education.
