Ben Weide

Ben Weide, PG, currently serves as the Department Manager for Virtual Design Consulting at Universal Engineering Sciences since 2022. Previously held the position of Department Manager at Intertek from 2017 to 2022, where responsibilities included managing projects for the Advanced Geophysical group, overseeing laser scanning surveys and structural forensic investigations. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Manager at Fugro from 2015 to 2017, where project planning and management were key, and as Project Engineer at Worley from 2011 to 2014, managing engineering staff and providing project updates. Initial professional experience includes working as a Field Geologist at Worley and as a Research Assistant at Missouri State University, where geological surveys and presentations were part of the role. Ben Weide holds a Master of Science in Geology from Missouri State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Florida State University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Paxon School/Advanced Studies.
