Rick Harmon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in building code services and technical consultation. Currently a Consultant at UES since April 2022, Rick also serves as a Professional in Charge at the District of Columbia Department of Buildings, where responsibilities include building plan review. As a Vice President and co-founder of Advanced Code Consultants, established in September 2024, Rick is committed to community service through building code expertise. Additionally, as President of Textile Properties LLC since April 2016, Rick oversees tenant leasing and consultation services. Previously, Rick held the position of Department Head for Building Code Services at Barry Isett & Associates from September 2009 to June 2022. Rick's educational background includes an Associate's degree in Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration & Ventilation Technology from CHI Institute-Philadelphia, along with education in building inspection and plan review from PA Construction Code Academy, and training in Building Construction Technology from the US Air Force's 36th Civil Engineering Squadron.
