Dan Hellie

Dan Hellie is an experienced broadcaster with a diverse background in sports commentary and hosting. Currently, Hellie serves as a broadcaster for the Ultimate Fighting Championship since July 2016, where responsibilities include hosting the UFC weigh-in show and pre/post-fight shows, along with play-by-play duties for Dana White's Contender Series. Additionally, Hellie has been a play-by-play announcer for FOX Sports covering NFL, college football, and college basketball since 2016, and worked as an on-air announcer for the Tennessee Titans from August 2016 to August 2023. Other notable roles include hosting the Helliepod podcast from March 2020 to February 2023, serving as an on-air host for NFL Fantasy Zone with DIRECTV, and hosting NFL Total Access at NFL Media from 2013 to 2020. Hellie's broadcasting career began as a sports anchor at NBC Washington from 2006 to 2013. Education was completed at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where studies took place from 1993 to 1997.
