Marc Auerbach

Marc Auerbach has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Marc started their career in 1995 as a Transit Operator for King County Metro Transit and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2011, Marc served as a Graduate Student, Teaching Assistant, and Instructor at the Department of Geography, The Ohio State University.

Marc then joined UFCW, where they held various research positions from 2011 to 2015, starting as an Assistant Researcher, advancing to Research Associate, and eventually becoming a Senior Research Associate. Marc then transitioned to being a Strategic Research Consultant as a self-employed individual from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Marc joined UFCW Local 3000 and has held different roles since then. Marc started as a Research Director until 2020, when they became the Campaigns Director. Currently, they serve as the Education Director.

Marc Auerbach has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Washington, which they obtained from 1985 to 1989. Marc then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Human Geography from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011.
