André Afonso has a degree in Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto – Portugal) and in Accounting and Administration from Instituto Superior Politécnico do Porto (Portugal). After starting his career at PWC (Price Waterhouse Coopers) as an auditor, André joined Endesa in 2005, which was later acquired by Enel. He has held various international positions within the Enel Group: CFO of Enel Green Power Portugal, CFO of Enel Green Power Brazil and Uruguay and Head of Planning and Control at Enel Brasil. André joined Ufinet in 2019.
