David Tackman

David Tackman serves as the Vice President of Operations and General Manager at UFP Technologies since June 2014, overseeing three manufacturing facilities and managing full P&L responsibilities while catering to diverse markets including medical and aerospace. Previously, David was a Plant Manager at Hisco, where responsibilities included implementing a revitalization plan and enhancing operational efficiencies. David also owned a franchise of CertaPro Painters and held senior leadership roles at Boyd Corporation and Creative Foam Corp, driving operational excellence and overseeing large-scale manufacturing processes. David's career began at General Motors, progressing from R&D Engineering to Environmental Management. Academic qualifications include a BSME in Industrial and Product Design from Michigan Technological University and an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Michigan.
