Adriano Codato is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and serves as the Chief Editor of the Journal of Sociology and Politics. They coordinate the INCT Representation and Democratic Legitimacy (ReDem) and lead the Observatory of Political and Social Elites. Adriano is the founder and president of the Institute for Scientific Communication and a researcher at CNPq. They held the position of Academic Deputy Coordinator for Political Science and International Relations at CAPES from 2018 to 2022 and became the President of the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Social Sciences (ANPOCS) for the term 2023-2024. Adriano's educational accomplishments include a Postdoctoral degree in Political Science and Government from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Doctorate in Political Science from the State University of Campinas.
