Abhay Kumar

Abhay Kumar is an accomplished leader in data science and artificial intelligence with extensive experience across several prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science and AI at UnitedHealth Group, Abhay leads a large-scale AI and Data Science Center of Excellence. Prior to this role, Abhay was the Manager of Data Science & AI at MiQ, overseeing end-to-end AI and machine learning solutions. As Lead Data Scientist and Generative AI Architect at Cardinal Health, Abhay focused on developing groundbreaking generative AI projects within Google Cloud. Abhay also contributed significantly at Infosys as Principal Data Scientist, where involvement in the 'Consumer DNA' project showcased expertise in machine learning and natural language processing. Abhay's career commenced at Tata Consultancy Services, progressing through various technical roles at IBS Software and GE. Abhay holds a Postgraduate degree in Deep Learning Neural Networks & Generative AI from the Indian Institute of Science and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
