Andrea Sims has over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, primarily at UnitedHealth Group since February 2011. Currently serving as the Network Program Consultant and Termination Playbook Owner, Andrea specializes in managing the termination process for provider contracts while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Previously, Andrea held roles such as Contract Management Expert, Sr. Provider Data Analyst, Provider Installation Specialist, and Provider Relations Specialist, contributing expertise in contract preparation, data analysis, and provider relations. Andrea began the career as a Claims Reporting and Special Service Analyst at Aetna, where foundational skills in claims review and eligibility assessment were developed. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of South Florida.
