Bo Han

Bo Han is a Principal Data Scientist and Manager at Optum, leading a high-performance team in machine learning and data science initiatives. They have previously worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Change Healthcare and as a Data Scientist II at Expedia Group, where they developed multilingual NLU models and AI solutions in healthcare. Bo began their career with a Givens Associate Student Internship at Argonne National Laboratory, where they formulated algorithms related to optimization theory. They hold a PhD in Mathematics from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Mathematics from Tianjin University of Commerce.
