Jeff Akers

Jeff Akers, CLU®, ChFC®, REBC®, is the National Vice President of Labor & Trust at UnitedHealth Group, focusing on enhancing access to affordable healthcare. With extensive experience in the healthcare delivery and insurance/finance sectors, Jeff has led high-performing teams and developed strategic business partnerships throughout their career. Previously, Jeff served in various leadership roles at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Regence BlueCross BlueShield, The ODS Companies, and The CHP Group. Jeff holds multiple degrees including a B.S. in Economics from Oregon State University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Portland State University, in addition to advanced credentials from The American College.
