John Aissis is the Deputy General Counsel at UnitedHealthcare, where they lead legal counsel for the Public Sector business and various teams including marketing and proposals. With extensive experience in ERISA and procurement laws, John has previously advised the National Accounts and Key Accounts segments at UnitedHealthcare. Their career also includes roles as Counsel at CIGNA and as a Staff Attorney for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch. John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Premed and a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
