JoLynn Markison

JoLynn Markison is the Deputy General Counsel for Employment Law at UnitedHealth Group, a position held since 2020. JoLynn previously served as a Partner in the Labor & Employment Department at Dorsey & Whitney LLP from 2014 to 2020 and worked as an Associate at Maslon Edelman Borman & Brand, LLP from 2006 to 2013. JoLynn began their legal education at William Mitchell College of Law, where they earned a J.D. in 2006. Earlier in their career, JoLynn held roles as a Senior Counselor at Eckerd and a Case Aide for Foster Care and Child Protection at Scott County. Additionally, JoLynn gained unique experience as a Wilderness Canoe Guide with Les Voyageurs from 1998 to 1999.
