Joydip Roy is a physician executive and team collaborator with over 15 years of experience in patient care and the corporate healthcare environment. Currently serving as the Market Chief Medical Officer at UnitedHealth Group, Joydip focuses on enhancing patient experience, advancing population health, and delivering value-based care across D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. Previously, Joydip held positions at the United States Department of Defense, Intercede Health, and Optum, where notable contributions included improving client acquisition and retention, and leading education initiatives for residents and medical staff. Joydip earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.
