Katelyn Nelson

Katelyn Nelson is an accomplished professional in marketing and event management with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Marketing and Event Experience at UnitedHealth Group since September 2017, Katelyn specializes in creating customized and strategic experiences for clients and partners. Previous roles include managing strategic briefings for senior executives and leading logistical support at the Optum Experience Center. Earlier career positions include Event Manager at Star Tribune, Manager of Events & Marketing Operations at Mall of America, and various intern roles that contributed to skills in event planning and communications. Katelyn holds a BA in Communication Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College.
