Marissa Monocchi

Customer Service Representative

Marissa Monocchi has an extensive background in sports management and customer service. Beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies and a Master's Degree in Sports Management from Southern Connecticut State University, Marissa's career spans various roles. Experience includes serving as a Marketing and Promotions Intern for the New Haven Ravens Minor League Baseball, where coordination of on-field promotions and events took place. As the Programs Director Assistant for the Town of Hamden, Marissa directed adult basketball and softball leagues and contributed to securing funding for park improvements. An extensive tenure as an Ophthalmic Technician at the Eye Center of Southern Connecticut honed patient care and organizational skills. Marissa also worked as a University Assistant in the Athletic Department at Southern Connecticut State University and coached youth at Spirit Zone, an elite All-Star Cheerleading gym. Currently, Marissa is employed as a Customer Service Representative at UnitedHealth Group since March 2022.
