Mark Henderson

Mark Henderson is a Certified Peer Support Specialist with extensive experience in behavioral health and substance use disorders. Currently employed at UnitedHealth Group since February 2023, Mark previously served as a Certified Peer Support Supervisor at The Mind-Body Collaborative and as a Peer Support Specialist/Casework Manager at Oakvine Recovery Center. Mark brings a wealth of knowledge gained from additional trainings in SMART Recovery, Motivational Interviewing, Illness Management & Recovery, and Wellness Recovery Action Planning. As an Air Force Veteran, Mark has also contributed at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Peer Support Specialist. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Health Science with an Emphasis in Substance Use Disorders from Grand Canyon University.
