Michael Lum

Michael Lum, PharmD, has extensive experience in the pharmacy field, particularly in specialty pharmacotherapy and prior authorization processes. Currently, at UnitedHealth Group, Michael serves as a Specialty Pharmacist at Optum Frontier Therapies, focusing on research, development, and education in rare diseases and gene therapies. Previous roles at OptumRx encompassed clinical pharmacy positions dedicated to prior authorization for specialty medical injectables for Medicare and Medicaid patients.
