Mike O'Brien

Mike O'Brien is a Senior Tax Director and adjunct professor with extensive experience in state and local taxation within the financial services industry. They worked as a Law Clerk at the Minnesota Department of Revenue in 2008, and later held prominent roles at UnitedHealth Group and KPMG US. Currently, O'Brien serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, co-instructing a course in the Masters of Business Taxation program. Additionally, they actively coach baseball, including a position as Senior American Legion Baseball Coach for the Eden Prairie Baseball Association. O'Brien holds a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a B.A. in History from Gustavus Adolphus College.
